The Troll Hunter VFX Breakdown Clip + An iPhone App?

I love anything Troll Hunter related and I cannot wait for this to hit US/UK shores so we can finally witness what these trolls are all about. With Magnet Releasing on distribution duties, hopefully this will pop up early next year.

Synopsis: "Troll Hunter (Trolljegeren) is a documentary about a group of students who discover what they believe is a government conspiracy to keep the existence of trolls in the north of Norway hidden from the general public."

Now while browsing YouTube I came across two interesting clips, the first one is a VFX breakdown which shows us how they brought these epic trolls to life and we get to see these trolls up close and personal.

They look freaking epic, if I was working in Hollywood right now I would be licking my wounds as Andre Ovredal and his team have created something truly unique which look amazing and puts Hollywood to shame. Saying that, we reported a few weeks ago that a remake would be on the way so Hollywood can put their spin on the Troll Hunter.

Anyway the second clip is about a Troll Hunter app, it looks great! Unfortunately you will need to get your hands on the Norwegian newspaper VG which has this thing called an ARad, so you position your iPhone in view of the ARad and a little troll pops up. Apparently if you touch the troll it gets angry and roars. I thought it looked cool :)
