The Daywalker has let us know about a new contemporary revamp of the Dracula story, where competing military forces find themselves racing to excavate the great vampire himself. An interesting premise, that could work if done right.

"The movie version of Sword of Dracula will be like Raiders of the Lost Ark with vampires. The story takes place in modern times, where American forces compete with another superpower country to find Dracula’s tomb. The object is to use Dracula’s stengths for modern warfare. Vampirology becomes part of a military agenda."
The movie is being Produced by Daniel Alter, Adrian Askarieh and Chuck Gordon (Hellboy) and is based on the comic book series by Jason Henderson
