Exclusive: Resident Evil 3 Movie Shooting in Toronto

We got an email from a person of knowledge this evening, who we will not name, lets just call them "Buddy". Buddy tells us that Resident Evil 3 will be directed by Paul Anderson and is slated to shoot in Toronto in the spring. It appears according to Buddy that the new film will be featuring Raccoon City once again.

As you know Resident Evil 2 was a bit of a major let down for many, and others still loved it. So we will have to see where The Resident Evil 3 movie goes. Buddy says Paul Anderson is likely to direct, and that it is shooting in Toronto, and he is in the know. So lets see what happens!

Anderson earlier in the year told the Hollywood Reporter : "I always thought of the 'Resident Evil' films as a trilogy, The first film was a prequel to the game world. The new movie intersects the film and game worlds. And the third movie will act as a follow-up to the games. It's a nice arc -- prehistory, in-game and then a sequel to the games."
