Zombie Chronicles for MTV, and 1000 Corpses 2 Update

Rob Zombie has scored a pilot commitment from MTV for a new horror-themed series titled "Zombie Chronicles". No other details were given about the project other than the possibility of Ozzy Osbourne also being featured on the show.

In other news, ComingSoon.net is reporting that porn legend Ginger Lynn Allen has joined the cast of Zombie's "The Devil's Rejects", his sequel to "House of 1000 Corpses". The production is keeping Lynn's role under wraps right now in order not to spoil anything.

Zombie's official site says that as the production enters its third week of principle photography the word is that the picture is on schedule and that Lion's Gate is "beyond thrilled with what they have been seeing."

One executive was quoted as saying that, "The film is much darker and nastier than anything seen in the first film. The difference between this film and 'House of 1000 Corpses' is night and day. The first film looks like 'Finding Nemo' compared to 'The Devil's Rejects'. Mr. Zombie is far exceeding our expectations."
