Wrong Turn Sequel on the Way

Now Wrong Turn has gotten a bad wrap from most fans, but I enjoyed it for what it was. The in-bred backwoods characters that Stan Winston created were really cool and as always with Winston the effects were spot on. Now that brings us to present day.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Wrong Turn will be getting a straight to DVD sequel. I would bet big money that Winston nor Dushku will be back for this one. The film had an easy formula in which to follow so the sequel won't be hard to pull off.

In the first film, a bunch of teens get in a car accident in the middle of nowhere. So after searching for some help they come across a cabin filled with past travellers things ala Texas Chainsaw Massacre. From there the teens are hunted down by some inbred rednecks out for blood.
