Santas Slay Heading Straight for Spike TV

This is one film that I remember hearing about a very long time ago and it seemed like it just disappeared. Well now over at ComingSoon.net it came up as a blip on its radar. Apparently "Santa's Slay" will now go straight to Spike TV in the Fall followed by some kind of DVD release.

It turns out that Santa Claus (WWE Wrestling star Goldberg) is not really the cuddly, harmless old fellow that we all know and love. In fact, he's a devil, and the only thing that has been keeping his bad side in check all this time is a bet he lost with an angel. Now, the bet has expired, and 1000 years of good cheer will be replaced by Christmas fear. This Christmas will be a violent night of chaos, with Santa bashing his way through town. Local boy Nicholas (Douglas Smith), his girlfriend Mac (Emilie de Ravin), and his crazy Grandfather (Robert Culp) are the only ones who know the truth about Santa, and can save their town and the world.

I'm almost surprised that the Sci Fi channel didn't gobble this up. Its right up there alley. It can't be any worse than Shark Attack 3. So it looks like this Christmas Spike TV will be giving everybody a big heaping helping of Bill Goldberg as a fat man in a Santa suit.
