Mary Lambert Back at the Helm For High Midnight
By far one of my favorite directors Mary Lambert looks to be back in the horror genre. She is best known for directing a little horror gem in "Pet Semetary" and more recently she snuck up on us with the "Bloody Mary: Urban Legends 3" film.
Her next film is called "High Midnight" and according to the Hollywood Reporter it is a vampire western by first-time scribe Denis Faye. The story centers on a broken-down sheriff who is forced to team up with an obsessed Victorian vampire hunter in order to stop an evil, undead force from consuming a frontier town in 1892 New Mexico.
The film is being produced by Mike Heidelberger for Treasure Entertainment. It is amazing to think he has been working on this project for several years now. Lets hope this time it gets off the ground so we can Lambert back in action again.
