Update for Poultrygeist Attack of the Chicken Zombie

Just the name alone is classic enough.  Simon Savory was cool enough to drop Horror-Movies.ca a line, updating us on (what should be a cult classic) - Poultrygeist: Attack of the Chicken Zombies.

So here's what "Simon has to say" so "Simon Say's Read!"

"Due for release (UNRATED) next December in limited theatrical release across the USA, I can tell you now that this movie is sure to garner a cult following. In the same vein as 'Tromeo and Juliet', this horror/comedy/musical has been in production since early July and wrapped a fortnight ago.

It features love songs about happy meals and salad tossing, a 200 plus zombie massacre invasion, dance routines involving classical ballet, Indian jigs and dance-off's, and of course lots of blood and guts and excellent gory effects, including exploding breasts and fried testicles.

I don't want to give too much away too soon but I have visited the set and have seen all the mayhem myself. It will be an underground classic, guaranteed.

Directed by Lloyd Kaufman and featuring a cameo from Ron Jeremy as a wise old soothsayer and many more, it will feature at next year's Cannes festival at the forefront of Troma's famous parades.

In the words of Kaufman himself: "This is the best Indian chicken zombie movie EVER made!"

LOL.. love songs about happy meals and salad tossing... I can't wait.  For more info about Poultrygeist: Attack of the Chicken Zombies, you can visit the films official site here.
