Breck Eisner to Direct THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON Remake

Variey has reported that Breck Eisner (Sahara) is set to be in the director's chair to helm Universal's remake of "Creature From the Black Lagoon."

Oh man.. this is exciting news, Breck and the studio better not screw this one up.. but they are off to a good start because the screenplay is written by Gary Ross (the son of Arthur A. Ross who wrote the original).
