Carpenter talks 13TH APOSTLE and HALLOWEEN SequelsMacReady
Our colleagues from Fangoria had the chance to talk to John Carpenter and one of the things the famous director said isn't very positive.
It seems that his project "The 13th Apostle" for Inferno Distribution has been put on hold for now.
"That’s one I might direct, but it’s all a matter of whether they have enough money to make the movie right and if they have enough to pay me."
Carpenter, who will have an episode in the upcoming "Masters of Horror" series titled "Cigarette Burns" also talked about the Internet rumors that he will return for the next "Halloween" movie as a writer or/and director.
"No one has talked to me about writing or directing the next HALLOWEEN. And even if they did, I don’t know if I would be inclined to write another one. A lot would depend on what they [Trancas International] are offering. To be perfectly honest, I don’t really want to do a sequel to HALLOWEEN. I did it once. There’s really nothing left to tell."
