Noxon Fixing Up Raimis Curse

Sam Raimi and his brother Ivan have come up with an idea for a movie involving doctors, monsters, mental patients and a witch. The project is tentatively titled "The Curse" and according to SciFi Wire Marti Noxon has just jumped on board to help rewrite the script. The film is said to be a mix of Evil Dead and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

"I think they wanted me because they wanted something that had a bit of comedy, and it has a feel that is in the Buffy vein, so I'm honored to be a part of it," Noxon said. "It's a crazy paranoid fantasy and has a strong female character, and there's a vengeful entity."

Of course the film will carry Raimis own Ghost House Pictures print. As of today their is no date set for when Production will begin.
