"THE WICKED" is about a war between the descendants of the Knights Templar and a Satanic cult.

Christian fanatics in power can be extremely dangerous, especially to those who oppose their views.

In Sal Ciavarello's script, the Templars have achieved that power in the government, but they take it a step further.

They try to silence another group of religious extremists—Satanists.
