Adam Green Talks About His Next Film

Adam Green as some of you may know is the mastermind behind the yet to be seen "Hatchet". Alot of buzz has been surrounding that film and Green since the announcement that was made at Comic-Con. So as you would expect his follow up will be followed just as close.

Green will be on board to co-direct "Spiral" which by no means has anything to do with Koji Suzuki's novel of the same name. The cast will include Joel Moore, Amber (The Ring) Tamblyn and Zachary Levi. Moore will also co-direct the film with Green. The film is described as “A reclusive artist finds new life in the eyes of his latest subject, but the past that haunts him may come to haunt her as well.”

Green recently got in touch with Fangoria and gave them a boat load of info about the film including this snippet:

“This is something that is not only completely different from HATCHET in tone, but it’s also completely different cinematically. As much as the term ‘art-house’ makes me gag, there is nothing about SPIRAL that is going to be like a regular everyday thriller. It’s going to feel different. The shots and angles that Moore and I have come up with together skew away from anything traditional.”

Filming will begin on November 29th and run for only 18 days. That means they will wrap on Christmas Eve. The cable channel Starz will be on set to film a "Making of" for the network to air in January.
