THE WANTING: To be Scarier than THE ECHO and Remake News

Today I got an email from Yam, pointing me to his new "blog site" and I was able to glean some "new" and "exciting" information about a new film and a remake of THE ECHO (SIGAW).

First up, Yam has let it be known that he is doing another movie soon and that it will be scarier than THE ECHO (SIGAW). Here's what he had to say:

"Doing another movie soon. It's called THE WANTING and it will be scarier than THE ECHO (SIGAW). I wrote the story with my wife and I'm very excited to start on it right away! Watch out for it soon."

You can bet on it, we'll be on the lookout for more news on THE WANTING.

And onto the remake front. In my review, I actually called it.. and I'm glad to see that this film is getting remade.

Recently, Roy Lee (Hollywood producer) of THE RING and THE GRUDGE remakes requested a screener of Sigaw.. and that is all she wrote because Roy is now setting up things for a remake to be made.. and it will be just called THE ECHO.

Personally, I cant wait to see what becomes from all of this and should help make 2006 that more exciting. Congrats Yam!
