Killing Demons Heads to the Big Screen

Variety has reported that Atmosphere Entertainment MM and Platinum Studios have made a deal to team up and do a live-action film based on the Platinum graphic novel "Killing Demons." Atmosphere's Mark Canton and Platinum's Scott Mitchell Rosenberg will produce.

KILLING DEMONS chronicles the adventures of Joshua Brand, an anachronistic demon hunter in the modern world who is called upon by Police Detective Sarah Bentley to help investigate a string of serial killings. Sarah doesn't believe in demons, but as Joshua is the only one willing to help her, it's a point she doesn't have time to argue.

The killer has chosen his next victim, and Sarah will take whatever works...

KILLING DEMONS is an experiment in urban horror written by Peter Siegel, illustrated by Brent White, designed for print by Matt Fraction and edited by Kelly Sue DeConnick. You don't need to believe, just keep your back away from the door.

A 13 page preview of the graphic novel is online and you can check it out by clicking on the image.
