UPDATE: Has the Pulse Release Date Been Pushed Back?

UPDATE:   Dimension Films has confirmed the fact that PULSE has been pushed back and now the new release date for the film will now be July 14, 2006.

The rumor circulating around the net concerning the Jim Sorzero's remake of Kiyoshi Kurosawa's PULSE is that the films release of March 3, 2006 has gotten pushed back to TBA 2006.  It's being said that initial test screenings have been "less than pleasing" and that the studio decided to go back and address some of the issues viewers had with the film.

Interesting? If this ends up being true, I wonder how much of the film sucked or which parts?  We may never know.. but hopefully they'll fix things and give us "at least" a decent film.. we'll see.

"In this remake to  Kiyoshi Kurosawa's "Pulse" ("Kairo"), a group of college students discover that a computer hacker friend of theirs unwittingly pirated a strange wireless signal that opened a doorway for a terrifying evil to cross over into the world.

As it spreads, everyone in its path is consumed, and the students must race to find a way to stop it."
