Cusack Checks Into 1408Goon
John Cusack is going to be back to the genre after his last appearence in Identity. This time around he is going to be starring in the Stephen King adaptation of 1408. The film will be directed by Mikael Hafstrom with a script penned by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski.
The story was originally published as a short story in which a debunker of paranormal occurrences encounters real terror when he checks into notorious Room 1408 at the Dolphin Hotel. Filming will begin this summer at an undisclosed location.
"This film is so much a one-man show," Hafstrom says. "It's quite a contained drama. It is a horror film if you want to put a label on it, but the way I see it, it's much more an inner-journey of this character."
