Win Dead End Days Box Sets on DVD

Meh

Guess what time it is fellow horror carnival freaks? Time for some more free shite. Yes I know life is truly grand. So this time around we got Dead End Days the zombie epic on DVD. All 48,650 episodes. SO yeah I probly blew that number out of proportion just a wee bit.. Who cares! Our favorite indie film makers in Toronto have released Dead End Days onto DVD.

To kick things off right we have signed copies for your winning pleasure. Many of you will recall another epic story where by we went out with these guys to talk about their upcoming screenplays and movies a year ago and there was a tipping incident. Namely Brad Fox the Producer of Dead End Days ( you reading this Brad? ) didnt tip the waiter and it almost turned into Apocalpyse Redux.

Well fear not. When we got together last night I PAYED the bill, and left a hefty tip. Dare I say 18%? So yes all is good and their is still only 1 disgruntled waiter kicking around in Toronto bitchin about the Dead End Days Producer and his inability to tip. So this here be a great contest, to win just drop me an email and I will randomly stab a winner.. err I mean PICK!

RocketAce Moving Pictures is very pleased to announce the release of its groundbreaking Internet serial "Dead End Days" in one complete four-disc DVD set.

The episodic zombie comedy "Dead End Days" chronicled a year in the life of a post-war society trying to peaceably integrate a zombie population. When a grasping-at-straws cola ad campaign turned into an overnight success, zombies become the new "it" demographic and the lynchpin to economic recovery. The 48-episode serial chronicled the adventures of a slew of colourful characters including an apathetic video store clerk trafficking in classic horror movies, his frustrated life-insurance
agent girlfriend, and two eager freelance zombie hunters all trying to find a place in this strange new world.

Broadcast exclusively over the Internet via deadenddays.com between October 2003 and November 2004 this is the first time that the cult series has been made available on video. The mammoth box set includes all 48 episodes, and four "Special edition" episodes totaling over four and half hours. As well the series creators have included over four hours of "behind the scenes" commentary, three blooper and outtake reels, a featurette on the art design of the series, and other exclusive never-before seen content. The DVD's also allow back to back viewing without interruption, or viewing of single episodes with their original opening and closing credits, making "Dead End Days: The Complete Series" the definitive edition that fans of the groundbreaking
series have been requesting.

The DVD release comes on the very warm reception received by "Dead End Days: The Complete Scripts" a 350-page scriptbook containing the original script to each episode, as well as a wealth of development material, production photos, and scriptwriting theory by “Dead End Days” scribe, and award winning playwright Jason Patrick Rothery. Both the DVD and Scriptbook are available directly from Rocket Ace
