Englund Returning to the Directors Chair

Robert Englund is back to the directors chair after a 16 year hiatus. His last effort was a little film 976-EVIL. This time around he is going to be directing "Killer Pad". Dread Central spoke with him about 2001 Mainiacs recently and he spilled the beans about the project.

“Basically it’s about three white guys from the Midwest who come to Hollywood to get laid and partake in everything they’ve seen on MTV and VH1…" he explained. "Eventually they get tricked by you know who into buying a killer pad in the Hollywood Hills, which is also a portal to hell!"

Sounds like a fun picture. Currently the film is in preproduction and will be produced by Wayne Rice who also produced Suicide Kings. We'll be keeping an eye out for more on this film.
