Texas Chainsaw Massacre Remake Prequel?

This is one of the moments where I think I am in a nightmare and than I realize that this is Hollywood were dealing with. A prequel to an already remade (horribly I might add) Texas Chainsaw Massacre? To top that off New Line actually paid $3 million to keep the rights to the franchise after Dimension Films offered Tobe Hooper a pricey deal.

The story is going to follow a group of sibling soldiers who end up running into Leatherface.
