FrankenStein Meets The Space Monster on DVD May 9th

DARK SKY FILMS is pleased to present a brother to Ed Wood's fantasticially atrocious sci-fi flick, Plan 9 from Outer Space, with this fine slice of humble rocketship pie, FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE SPACE MONSTER. Produced by Del Tenney compatriot Alan Iselin (Horror of Party Beach, Curse of the Living Corpse), FRANKENSTEIN MEETS THE SPACE MONSTER features the writing talents of R.H.W. Dillard and George Garrett, and the early thespic pursuits of Marilyn Hanold (The Brain That Wouldn't Die), Lou Cutell (Pee-Wee's Big Adventure), and the feature debut of James Karen (Return of the Living Dead, Superman Returns).

Bruce Glover (Diamonds are Forever) also appears as both a martian and the Space Monster itself. When Martian invaders Princess Marcuzan (Marilyn Hanold) and her pointy-eared accomplice Doctor Nadir (Lou Cutell) shoot down an android-manned rocket, the robot escapes the wreckage only to suffer computer-brain damage, sending him on a rampage throughout Puerto Rico. To add to the island's woes, the martians invade the area beaches, nabbing teenaged and bikini'd babes from the homeland. Dark Sky Films DVD presentation includes the theatrical trailer, a still gallery, and a 16-page essay booklet written by screenwriter George Garrett.
