Universal to Deliver Anguish

Goon

Last week we heard about only some of the projects that Jake Wade Wall was working on. Apparently he was keeping Anguish in his hip pocket. Universal Pictures recently picked up Wall's pitch for Anguish which is based on a spanish horror film, Anguistia.

Variety reports that the original film, directed by Bigas Luna, was a horror-movie-within-a-horror movie. As an audience in a small theater watches a film about an optometrist on a killing spree, a maniac begins killing the moviegoers.

Jake Wade Wall is the man who was behind this years abismal When A Stranger Calls and the upcoming The Hitcher remake. He is also working on an original idea called Amusement.
