Stephen Kings Son Nabs Picture Deal

For a long time Joe Hill has been working on his writing without anyone knowing he was the son of Stephen King. But he was eventually outed and now his upcoming novel Heart Shaped Box has been nabbed up by Warner Bros to be adapted by Tom Pabst. The film will be produced by Akiva Goldsman by his Weed Road shingle.

The novel is a supernatural thriller about a rock star who collects occult artifacts and bids online for a ghost that leads him into the Deep South. There, he must confront his past in order to escape the haunting.

Sounds like a great story and anybody that grew up around Stephen King has to know alittle about how to write a decent horror story. I'm sure we will see alot more promotion for this movie with Stephen Kings name mentioned several times. Keep it here and we will give you the heads up when we get word on more.
