Strangers to Invade the Theatres

Ever since Hostels great success in the box office many studios have been trying to capitalize on the whole "torture" theme. This is the case with the recent acqusition from Rogue Pictures Strangers. They have just tapped the screenwriter of the film to make his directorial debut, Bryan Bertino.

Bertino's screenplay centers on three mysterious strangers who terrorize a young couple in a remote house after they return from a wedding. Sounds really brutal but I'm wonderinig how they are going to manage to stretch this out into a feature.

They are currently casting for the project and so far there is no start date for production. Keep it here for more on Strangers.
