Del Toro on Pan Labyrinth

Stigma
Crazy latino director Guillermo del Toro is still working on Pan Labyrinth - which has pushed it's release date back to December 29th (right in time for the christmas spirit!). He expects that it will be released to a larger audience this time, as opposed to his previous hit, which he says was released in a whopping 16 theaters. He says that the movie is more for genre fans than a "hollywood market", but that he is proud of the flick.

Doug Jones is playing one of the lead roles in the film, cast as Pan the faun. He is an English actor who has ran most of his career in laytex rubber, as he says that "some hookers do that too." Whatever it is, the two are a good pair, as seen in Hellboy where Jones played Abe Sapien and in Mimic where he was the giant cockroach. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do with this Dark Fantasy storyline.
