H6 on DVD August 22nd.

Meh

When the master of horror Clive Barker says a horror flick is good you gotta admit it must be good. We have for you a first look at the new Tartan flick H6, coming to dvd Aug 22nd. At this rate, no one’s going to travel to Europe anymore! Doing for Spanish tourism what Hostel did for Slovakia, H6: Diary of A Serial Killer is an unrelenting vision of horror from Spain’s newest auteur and the producers of Basic Instinct 2 and Sexy Beast. H6 tortures DVD shelves August 22nd in stores across the nation from Tartan Video.

Antonio Frau, a recently freed, convicted killer, inherits an old brothel.  Taking this as a sign to “cleanse” the women who inhabit the surrounding streets, he bestows his own brand of purification behind the locked doors of Room 6.  The diary he keeps of every date, name and unspeakable act details a journey into the hostile mind of a delusional psychopath.

Bringing to mind ground-breaking horror-thrillers such as Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer and Mario Bava’s The Torturer, First-time director Martín Garrido Barón’s H6 is a balance between the journey inside the mind of a delusional psychopath and the gory end results that come from within.

Spanish, with English subtitles, H6 is presented in anamorphic widescreen, Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and DTS Surround Sound 5.1.  Special DVD features include interview with director Martín Garrido Barón, interview with actor Fernando Asaco, original theatrical trailer and trailers of Tartan Video’s upcoming releases.
