A while back we told all of you that author Thomas Harris would be releasing his novel, Behind the Mask to coincide with the new movie. Well now it appears that like the movie the novel is also changing its name. Harris has decided to call the book Hannibal Rising and release it on December 5th.
In "Hannibal Rising" readers learn about Lecter's early life in Eastern Europe from age 6 to 20, following the death of his entire family during WWII. Don't forget that the film version will follow later giving you enough time to complete reading the book. Young Hannibal will be in theatres on February 9th, 2007.
