No SAW 3 Screenings? Bad Sign

Word is that SAW 3 will not be screening for the press. Uh can you say bad sign? I loved SAW, SAW2 not so much but it was still a good horror movie despite what I feel was a lack luster ending. With that all said and done, today when attempting to RSVP for SAW 3 screeenings we got told that it is very unlikely that SAW 3 will have any screenings. I should probably add that I have not spoken with LGF to confirm this but I intend to try and get them to answer my emails. With that out of the way, no screenings can mean one of three things.

The movie is so bad ass it doesnt need press people or bloggers or wanna be press people such as myself covering it or doing good reviews for it since its so bad ass we just dont matter.

It is so terrible that their is a fear that the majority of the reviews will consist of "WTF happened" and the studio will not want the press seeing it.

That we are just so insignificant and our readers so un-important that rather then telling us to piss off the publicity people just figured they would pretend their is no screening and we would never be the wiser ( damn those sneaky publicity people )

So which is it? Thoughts? Comments? Hit The boards soldier and sound off! In SAW 3 Jigsaw has disappeared. With his new apprentice Amanda (Shawnee Smith), the puppet-master behind the cruel, intricate games that have terrified a community and baffled police has once again eluded capture and vanished. While city detectives scramble to locate him, Doctor Lynn Denlon (Bahar Soomekh) is unaware that she is about to become the latest pawn on his vicious chessboard.

One night, after finishing a shift at her hospital, Lynn is kidnapped and taken to an abandoned warehouse where she meets Jigsaw (Tobin Bell), bedridden and on the verge of death. She is told that she must keep the madman alive for as long as it takes Jeff (Angus Macfayden), another of his victims, to complete a game of his own. Racing against the ticking clock of Jigsaw's own heartbeat, Lynn and Jeff struggle to make it through each of their vicious tests, unaware that he has a much bigger plan for both of them...
