Wes Craven's New Film and Possibly More Remakes

Goon

Wes Craven has just struck a deal with Rogue Pictures to write and direct a new project. He has also taken it upon himself to create a new Rogue based company that will focus on making horror flicks with a budget of less than $15 million, Midnight Pictures.

Craven had this to say about his new film that he is working with Rogue for, "It is rooted in the supernatural with a 16-year old central character, but it's more 'Sixth Sense' than a slasher film," Craven said about his new film. "It's appalling to me that you have to go back to 1994 to find an original that I wrote and directed, so this is very important to me."

Within the article on Variety they also mention several of Wes Craven's films that are being looked at to get a facelift. First off will be that the first film that Midnight Pictures will do will be the remake of his film Last House on the Left. No surprise there as we have been hearing about that for years. But they are also looking at Shocker and People Under the Stairs.
