Betancourt at the Helm of Boogeyman 2Goon
Jeff Betancourt has probably been really busy lately editing the The Grudge 2 and his schedule doesn't look like its going to lighten up any time soon. He is moving up at Ghost House Pictures and will now be making his directorial debut on Boogeyman 2.
Written by Brian Sieve, the script centers on a young woman with a long-term phobia of the boogeyman, who voluntarily checks herself into a mental health facility with the hope of conquering her overwhelming fears. However, much to her horror, she discovers that some things are terrifying on purpose, and confronting her demons was not the best course of action.
I honestly liked the first film for the first half an hour, it had a good story and they ruined it with closet jumping and some of the worst CGI I have ever seen. Hopefully it won't go that route this time when production begins late November in Los Angeles.
