Funny Games Are On the Way - HorrorMovies.ca

Warner Independent Pictures have just nabbed the distribution rights to Michael Haneke's English-language debut, a remake of his 1997 pic Funny Games. Oddly enough Naomi Watts will topline the project along with Tim Roth, Michael Pitt, Brady Corbet and Devon Gearhart also starring.

Funny Games is a thriller that follows two deeply disturbed young men who take a family hostage in a vacation home invasion. I've never seen the original picture but from what I have heard it sounds like this one should be a great watch. Keep it here and we'll keep you informed on what happens with this project.
