Asia Argento Confirmed for Mother of Tears

As we reported awhile back Asia Argento has just been confirmed by Variety to be toplining her fathers (Dario Argento) next film Mother of Tears. The article though gave us a good insight into the role will be playing. Asia will be playing an American art student who unwittingly unleashes a plague of witches in Rome by opening an ancient urn.

It was also confirmed that Udo Kier will be appearing in the film as well which we told you about a couple weeks back. Also joining the cast will be Massimo Sarchielli and Philippe Leroy. Shooting is set to start Oct. 30th in Rome, with plans to move after one week to Turin.
