Faces of Death is Back!

I can remember being a young kid and renting Faces of Death just out of morbid curiousty. I was really in for alot more than I had gambled for. At the time the film had the big banned in however many countries sticker on it and it supposedly featured real life atrocities on tape.

It was a sort of a documentary only unbeknownest to me the makers had come out and said that all of it was fake. The narrator Dr. Francis B. Gross went on to be featured in several of these films which soon became a cult hit and spawned five sequels.

Today it was announced that J.T. Petty will now be working on a remake of sorts to revive the franchise. Petty just finished another project very similar to this one called S&man. Only this time around it won't be a faux-documentary but a straight forward feature in the vein of Saw. Rogue Pictures will be behind the film with Andrew Rona overseeing.
