Master of Horror Brad Anderson is getting ready to follow up on his last film The Machinist with Trans-Siberian. Today the trades have announced that Woody Harrelson. He will be joined by British actress Samantha Morton will play Harrelson's wife, with Kate Mara and Spanish heartthrob Eduardo Noriega playing the couple opposite them and Ben Kingsley rounding out the cast as a Russian police officer hot on the trail of the two couples.

They story follows a couple as they want to take a romantic trip together to mend their crumbling marriage. So they decide to take the transsiberian train that will take them threw China all the way to Moscow. Soon they discover the train isn't as glamorous as it once was and find themselves stuck in a world full of murder and drug smuggling.

Brad Anderson is definetly one of the best directors in the genre. So I can trust they he will be able to put his stamp on this story and spin it in a way that we have never seen. Filmmax will be behind the funding for this film so I immediately went to their website and picked up the teaser poster. You can also check out a longer synopsis there if you are interested.
