The Talisman Heads to TNT

The Talisman has been rumored to become a feature film for years now with all sorts of people attached.. I couldn't believe it but at one point they had Michael Jackson lined up to topline with Mick Garris directing! Now that movie would have to be rated NC-17.. no way they are gonna let kids into that theatre.

All kidding aside finally TNT has decided to take the reigns and will now be airing the project as a six hour mini series. Ehren Krueger will be working on the script. He had experience having once adapted the Stephen King book for a feature film. Krueger thought it was really hard to condense such a large book into a film.

According to Fango, Steven Speilberg is now on board as well to produce. No director has been announced just yet but I'm sure they are working on it. They are hoping to get this thing off the ground and on the air by Summer, 2008.
