Halloween Added to the National Film Registry

Goon

Some of you may be scratching your heads and wondering what the hell the National Film Registry is. Basically the the NFR is a list of 25 films that comes out every year that guarantees the films will be preserved under the terms of the National Film Preservation Act. So its a pretty high honor.

Plus this guarantees that the older films will never be lost. Apparently every year tons of films are lost due to nitrate deterioration, color fading and the recently discovered "vinegar syndrome". So rest safe everyone because Halloween is now being treated so that people hundreds of years from now will be able to enjoy the classic we all love and enjoy, Halloween.
