The Tripper Sets Release Date

David Arquette's The Tripper has been doing very well on the film festival circuit and also played several theatres during the After Dark Horror Fest. Today Freestyle Releasing has announced that they will be releasing The Tripper on June 20th, 2007. I am also pleased to say that they plan on releasing the film in 500+ theatres.

That is some fantastic news. Especially considering that it will get such a wide release. Hopefully they will be able to expand from there. The film centers around a group of young hippies as they set out on a drug-induced weekend of debauchery. Little do they know, in the woods lurks a crazed madman that is obsessed with Ronald Reagan.
