Chronicles of Riddick DVD Coming November 2004

Universal Studios Home Video have announced the release of The Chronicles of Riddick in November 2004. The follow-up to Pitch Black sees Vin Diesel reprise his role as a criminal on the intergalactic most wanted list who for this adventure finds himself caught up in the struggle against an oppressive ruling force.

The theatrical cut (120mins) will be available in separate anamorphic widescreen and full screen editions, while the Unrated Director's Cut (127mins) will also be released with an anamorphic widescreen transfer. The Chronicles of Riddick is a movie that combines the elements of a sequel and a prequel. The movie is set 5 years after the events of Pitch Black and starts as Riddick is hiding away from mercs on distant planets. He is constantly haunted by visions of his past, his warrior times, the murder, his abandonment, events that happened to him. He decides to go back to the planet where he was sentenced.
