Early Details on Pans Labyrinth DVD

Goon

Easily one of my favorite movies of last year and this one so far, Pan's Labyrinth is making its way to DVD on May 15th. Guillermo del Toro's little adult fairy tale did more than just wow all of us he also managed to come away with three Academy Awards for the film as well. A great accomplishment that our genre very rarely if ever gets.

According to DVDActive the film will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0 Stereo Surround tracks. English subtitles will also be provided. Expect two versions of the film as well. One will be a simple single disc edition($29.98) and a Special 2-Disk release ($34.99).

Currently the special features are really unknown for the single disc edition, but awhile back we posted all the goodies that will be included on the two disc DVD here. Below is some trial artwork for the film but I'm guessing that they may alter it a bit before they release the film. Check back later for complete specs and art work.
