Night of the Living Dorks Remake!

Not long ago I caught Night of the Living Dorks on DVD from Anchor Bay (my review) and I was really blown away. The film is a teen sex comedy with zombies if you boil it down to its essentials. Kind of like if George Romero directed American Pie only funny.

Anyway Warner Independent Pictures have decided to take the story and remake it. The man in charge of adapting the story is Chris Bishop whom I feel might be the right man for the job. He recently wrote the draft for the Revenge of the Nerds remake which fits the tone of this film perfectly.

In the film a trio of nerds are going to school and getting picked on everyday until they get in the middle of a voodoo ritual that some of the goth kids are doing. After they manage to get themselves into a car accident they find themselves in the morgue. Soon they become everything they ever wanted to be.. until that is they begin to rot..
