The Midnight Meat Train Boards In LA

Today some rather discouraging news was revealed over at Clive Barkers Official Website regard the upcoming film based on his short story "The Midnight Meat Train". The film was slated to film in LA but because "It would have been ridiculous to pass off one city as another" they have moved the actual location from NYC to LA.

Now this is probably not that big of a deal but I think there are massive differences between LA and NYC. Anyone from either city will tell you that there are massive differences between them. Nevertheless the movie is moving ahead with direction from none other than Ryuhei Kitamura (Versus).

The Midnight Meat Train was an original short story that was included in Clive Barkers Books of Blood. In the story a local photographer is riding the train looking for this deadly "Butcher" that rides the trains at night. Stay tuned for more information as we get it.
