Jack Black and Edgar Wright Team Up?

/film recently had an interview with screenwriter Mike White (School of Rock, Nacho Libre) and he spilled the beans about an upcoming project he is working on. Apparently he is teaming up with Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead) on a script called Them. The story is described as a conspiracy theory comedy horror film.

When asked if he would work with Jack Black again he said that he may appear in Them of course that all depends on whether he would like to or not. Its still very early in the game. It also looks like Wrights bad boys Simon Pegg and Nick Frost will appear as well.

Now for a more detailed account of the story you have to look at the Jon Ronson book on which Them is based on. The book is a nonfiction tale of extremists and people with extraordinary conspiracy theories. In the film, they plan to place the world in a place where some of them are true including semi-human descendants of evil extraterrestrial 12-foot-tall lizards that walk among us.
