MoH: The Screwfly Solution DVD Specs

The folks over at Anchor Bay just informed us about the new Masters of Horror disc to be released. The film this time is The Screwfly Solution by Joe Dante who has helmed Gremlins, The Howling, & last season's very political zombie film Homecoming.

Screwfly in my opinion is probably one of the best of season two and the most real out of the whole of the bunch. In Screwfly Solution, a strange virus has men turning violent towards women at the slightest twinge of sexual urge. Women soon are becoming endangered as they are ruthlessly murdered and as the male population is overtaken by the plague and a cult relgion based around it. The film focuses on one family as they try to survive.

It is based off the short story by James Tiptree Jr.
