Toronto After Dark Film Festival Call for Entries

Toronto After Dark Film Festival, Canadas showcase of thrilling cinema, is pleased to announce its Call for Entries for its 2007 Edition. The festival is on the lookout for both short and feature films to showcase at its second annual edition this October in the genres of: Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Animation, Crime, Action, Documentary and Experimental.

Last year we were a sponsor of the event and this year we are once again an online sponsor. We are big believers in supporting the horror industry and especially when its indie horror, festivals and filmmakers. You can read Tim's Toronto After Dark Coverage from last year. Last years inaugural festival was a huge success with over 4,000 enthusiastic film fans flocking to Toronto to see everything from wannabe slashers (BEHIND THE MASK), flying ninjas (SHINOBI) teenage zombies (NIGHT OF THE LIVING DORKS) to Swedish vampires (FROSTBITE). This year the festival expands to seven nights in (Oct. 19-25, 2007), and has more than doubled the number of awards for filmmakers, to five categories with prizes totaling $1,000 in cash.
