Severance Director's Next: Triangle

I have to say Chris Smith is really building himself up as one of the most versatile horror directors in the genre. His sophomore effort had Lola running from a mutant and his next has the Office getting hacked and slashed. Next up for this creative writer/director is a little film that Shock Til You Drop uncovered, Triangle.

"It's a psychological horror film set on an ocean liner. Weirdly, it's a movie that will play in time loops, like a character getting stuck in a glitch," Smith reveals. "That's what the Bermuda Triangle is and this character has to combat her way back. It's a slick idea that I will get bang-on right."

Smith will direct the project for Dan Films. Don't forget to check out Severance first however which opens in New York on May 18th and in Los Angeles on May 25th. After that it is expected to recieve a much larger release on June 1st.
