Gordon has a Thing on his Doorstep

Today it was announced that Moonstone Entertainment CEO Etchie Stroh will be teaming up with producer Robert Katz. Together they will produce three to four films a year in the $30 million to $40 million range, including a slate of horror films under Katz's Amicus Entertainment banner. So what does all this have to do with Stuart Gordon and this mysterious thing on his doorstep?

Well the duo plan on producing Stuart Gordons next film which will be another H.P. Lovecraft tale "The Thing on the Doorstep". This particular story by Lovecraft deals with soul possession and served as somewhat of a sequel to his previous story "The Shadow Over Innsmouth". Next up for the company will be a psychological thriller written by Paul Schrader, "Recall".

It was also revealed in the article that Robert Katz has finally finished production on Gordons "Stuck" starring Stephen Rea and Mena Suvari. It was also mentioned in the deal that they are in talks with Tobe Hooper to direct a "high-profile horror book adaptation".
