Sam Neil Joins Daybreakers - HorrorMovies.ca

Peter and Michael Spierig have been talking about doing Daybreakers forever and finally it looks like things are getting off the ground. After finishing Undead everyone has been waiting to see what they had up their sleeve next. Since they have already tried there hand at the zombie genre they are know working on a vampire flick.

Screen Daily has announced that the one and only Sam Neil will join Ethan Hawke in the film written by the duo as well. The story takes place in 2017 as of a clandestine group of vampires discovers the key to saving the human race from a plague.

Another fantastic edition to this movie is the FX house WETA Workshop who have done special FX for countless genre flicks. Filming is schedueled to begin sometime this July in Austrailia.
