Weinstein's Acquire Suspiria and Launch New Label

The new restored version of Suspiria that played at Cannes for its 30th Anniversary has just been acquired by the Weinstein Co. This new title will help them launch one of their three new labels. Dimension Extreme will be used to launch horror, comedy, thriller and sci-fi titles.

The new label will focus mainly on straight to DVD titles but it will also occasionally handle theatrical releases as well. In addition to Suspiria they plan to release "Pulse 2" and Greg McLeans "Rogue" on the newly formed Dimension Extreme label.
