Update on Whisper - HorrorMovies.ca

Whisper is another film that is trying its hands at the "evil kid" sub genre. Only Whisper has been shelved for what seems like ages. Directed by Stewart Hendler and starring Josh Holloway you would wonder what all the hold up is for from Gold Circle films. I'm guessing they are taking a page from the Weinsteins book. Keep a movie shelved until no one is interested anymore and then release it with no PR.

Luckily Upcoming Horror Movies tracked down some information on the film including an official website. Unfortunately the website is the Official Spanish website. Apparently the film has already made a theatrical run in the Phillipines back in May. Of course there still is no U.S. release date for the film.

Since it has been so long since we have heard anything from the film I will give you a quick run down of the synopsis. A group of criminals kidnap a young boy and his wealthy parents at an abandoned summer camp. Soon strange things begin to happen and they all seem to be caused by the strange young boy.
