Two More for A Tale of Two Sisters

More casting has just been announced for Dreamworks' A Tale of Two Sisters remake. Now if I had been doing the casting for this film I would have picked up The Avellan Twins to play the sisters.. But alas I am no casting director. The two potential sisters have been cast though, Arielle Kebbel and Emily Browning.

The only information about Kebbel's role was that she will have a lead role. Which obviously points to one of the sisters. However Emily Browning was barely mentioned which could mean she is a new character or one of the minor ones that is introduced during a dinner scene in the original. Now I do have to add that the one good thing about The Grudge 2 was seeing Kebbel in a school girls uniform. So I beg to the directors.. More of that please?

Tom and Charles Guard will direct the remake in which Anna and Alex Rydell, a modern-day teenage sisters who return home from a mental hospital only to find their recovery unraveling because of a cruel stepmother, clueless father and a lingering ghost. Kebbel and Browning are joining Elizabeth Banks and David Strathairn.
